Friends,
In early November friends and I traveled to eastern Oregon to bird hunt. It was a first-time trip to this gamebird country of rolling grassland hills and creek bottoms. We were there to hunt chukar, pheasant, valley quail, and Hungarian partridge. All wild birds. And we found them! This hunt ranks as one of the best western bird hunts I’ve ever experienced. I plan to return next season.
The ranch is huge – 134,000 private acres. A truly beautiful landscape. The lodge is first-class and absolutely fine food is served. The guides and lodge staff are wonderful and receive very high marks. The ranch team provided our group a fantastic experience.
Along with the ranch’s wild bird hunts, high-quality preserve hunting is offered. For those who like to hunt and follow bird dogs from horseback, the ranch offers horseback hunts.
For more hunt details, call me. I’d like to tell you more about my Oregon trip.
Regards,
Gordie
