My daughter Finley and I recently returned from Zimbabwe. It was my daughter’s first Africa trip and my first time back to the country in a long time. I lived there in the 90s and it felt like I went home.
Our time was spent with longtime friends in the Beitbridge area in southern Zimbabwe. We hunted in a massive free-range concession that bordered the Limpopo River. No fences and big stunning landscapes.
This is one of my favorite areas. Great game populations: lots of elephant, buffalo, leopard, crocodile, kudu, big herds of zebra, impala, wildebeest, hyena, bushbuck, eland, and plenty more.
Finley took very good animals and experienced many aspects of wild Africa, and I’m glad I was able to share it with her. It was an exceptional trip for many reasons.
If you have interest in a Zimbabwe safari and to see wild Africa, call or email me anytime.
